Simi Valley High School's Entrepreneurship & Business Pathway In the Situation Room, Reagan Library
Students in Entrepreneurship at Simi Valley High School participated in the Situation Room Experience at the Reagan Library on October 4, 2016. The Experience places the students in roles as government officials, medical experts, and members of the press as they deal with crisis -- an assassination attempt on the President. The physical location is the actual Situation Room used in the White House from 1961 until 2006, which is installed in the Library. Students rated it a 5 out of 5, so our thanks goes to the Reagan Library and its staff for creating a valuable, fun, and highly engaging learning experience that teaches crisis management, problem solving, and critical thinking.
