Royal High School combines a strong International Baccalaureate Pathway with languages such as Mandarin, that are embedded in model citizenry through their Reagan Library partnership and outstanding sports programs. Royal is also home to an award winning Marching Band and youth Orchestra.

Simi Valley Unified leads the charge with Middle School Mock Trial at all of middle schools and Monte Vista (Independent) School. Curriculum focused on public speaking, research, analysis argumentation, and acting. This year, Simi Valley hosts it's 3rd Annual  Middle School Mock Trial Competition for Southern California.

INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS INTO THE SIMI VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

Simi Valley Schools welcome you! Parents of students who live outside of the SVUSD boundaries who wish to attend an SVUSD school will:

  1. Complete an Interdistrict Transfer Agreement Form obtained from your district of residence.
  2. Submit the Form to your district of residence for approval.
  3. Once approved, submit the approved Agreement to SVUSD Student Support Services located at 101 West Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA 93065 OR e-mail at margaret.edison@simivalleyusd.org .

As a courtesy, approved permits are automatically shared with the receiving Ventura County School District.

 

For more information about any SVUSD school, click on the “Schools” tab at the top of the SVUSD home page. You may also contact the Simi Valley school-of-interest for a campus tour, open house, or to attend any other public school event.

INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS OUT OF THE SIMI VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

Unless there is a specified exception under SVUSD Board Policy 5117 and Administrative Regulation 5117 for the 2018-19 school year, Simi Valley Schools accepts Interdistrict Transfer Applications January 7, 2019 through April 2019 for 2019-2020.

  1. Complete the Interdistrict Transfer Form available HERE on January 7, 2019.
  2. Submit your completed application and supporting documentation in person at 101 West Cochran Street, Simi Valley, CA, 93065 OR via e-mail margaret.edison@simivalleyusd.org .

Processing time takes approximately two weeks from the date your completed application is received.
