The Simi Valley Unified School District is dedicated to protecting students, teachers, and administrators throughout the district as technology becomes increasingly more prevalent in classrooms. As such, we encourage all stakeholders to gain a broader understanding of digital citizenship through Common Sense resources, by studying topics that include:

Creating, connecting, and safely and responsibly exploring the Internet;

Safeguarding from cyberbullying and maintaining privacy;

Developing relationships and understanding online communication;

Understanding the importance of copyright and the concept of creative credit; and

Evaluating the validity of online information (Information Literacy).

The Simi Valley Unified School District maintains a firm policy prohibiting all forms of bullying. Everyone is to be treated with respect and dignity. Bullying by anyone, including students, teachers, administrators, or other adults will not be tolerated by any circumstances. Administrators will respond to all reports of alleged bullying in a timely manner.
