3 Standards Met
At the time of reporting, student performance in cluster of standards consistently meets grade-level expectations as demonstrated by a body of evidence. The student shows independent understanding and application of grade level concepts as determined by formal, informal, oral and/or written assessments, and teacher observation. A 3 is the goal for the grade level.

2 Standards Nearly Met
At the time of reporting, student performance in cluster of standards is below grade-level expectations as demonstrated by a body of evidence. The student shows partial/inconsistent understanding and application of grade level concepts as determined by formal, informal, oral and/or written assessments, and teacher observation.The student needs additional support.

At the time of reporting, student performance in cluster of standards is far below grade-level expectations as demonstrated by a body of evidence.
